The Meridian Show Assembly Structure and Show Where Used commands display different views in the Meridian Reference Explorer. By default, the Meridian Reference Explorer shows the names of iParts and the sizes of the variations used in the assembly. In many cases, it is more convenient to show other information, such as the part number of the variation, instead of the size.
To display other iPart data in the Reference Explorer:
When you place the iPart into an Autodesk Inventor assembly, choose which variant to use from the table. The new parameter will be shown in the Autodesk Inventor browser instead of the file name and various size values. The new parameter will also be shown in Meridian in the Reference Explorer as well as in other reference dialogs.
